London Interior Photographer
I photograph interior design projects across London and the UK, creating refined imagery for design studios, developers and premium brands. My work is defined by tonal consistency, precise composition and deliberate lighting control that enhances space with clarity and depth.
Interior Design Photography
I am an interiors photographer based in London and Cambridge, working with interior designers, architects, developers, museums and galleries across the UK. My work has sent me to commissions further afield in America, China, the Middle East and throughout Europe.
My experience spans contemporary residential interiors, luxury design, historic properties, art galleries, retail environments and hospitality spaces. Clients include Conran Design Group, The Whiteley, Native Land + cultural institutions and private residential studios.
Each project is approached as both a spatial and atmospheric study. Alongside composed room views, I create considered detail images that convey materiality and mood — emphasising texture, colour, craftsmanship and the way a space is inhabited. When appropriate, I collaborate with designers or stylists to ensure the interiors are presented at their very best.
Approach to Light and Technical Control
Interior photography demands careful control of light and balance. I work to harmonise exterior and interior exposures, managing colour casts from mixed lighting and ensuring windows retain natural depth without overpowering the room.
Where possible, I prefer to keep practical lighting subtle and create naturally lit interiors. When needed, I introduce controlled fill light to lift shadows and maintain tonal consistency without compromising atmosphere.
Shooting medium format in 16-bit colour allows for smooth tonal graduations and exceptional clarity. Combined with meticulous post-production, the result is imagery that feels refined, natural and enduring.
I am always mindful of how an image may be used — whether online, in print, as a cover image or across a double-page editorial spread. My work has been widely published in both trade and consumer titles.
Craft, Material & Detail
I have always been drawn to the craft within interior design — the joinery, the material junctions, the surface treatments and the subtle decisions that elevate a space.
Earlier in my career I photographed historic interiors and heritage properties, where sensitivity to materials and finishes was essential. Working in those environments developed a deep respect for texture and the quiet complexity of traditional craftsmanship.
That same awareness now informs how I approach contemporary interiors. Whether documenting bespoke cabinetry, hand-finished plaster, natural stone, specialist metalwork or carefully curated furniture, I aim to reveal the quality of the workmanship without overpowering it.
