Art Gallery Interior Photography
I create art gallery interior photography in London and internationally, documenting exhibition design, contemporary installations and permanent collections with clarity and sensitivity. Photographing gallery spaces requires a careful balance — respecting curatorial intent while revealing the spatial dialogue between artwork, architecture and light.
Each commission is approached with precision and controlled lighting to ensure colour accuracy, tonal subtlety and compositional integrity, allowing the work to be represented faithfully for press, catalogues, archives and digital platforms. Whether capturing a major contemporary exhibition or an intimate private viewing room, my aim is to produce images that honour both the art and the architecture that frames it.

Architectural Sensibility in Gallery Spaces
I photograph art galleries and museums with the same architectural discipline I bring to my building commissions. Gallery interiors demand precision — alignment, proportion, negative space and rhythm all matter.
I am attentive to how artwork sits within the architecture: how light washes across walls, how scale shifts between rooms, and how visitors move through space. My clients include David Zwirner, Kettle’s Yard, The Science Museum, Turner Contemporary, The Royal Academy, The Design Museum and the Serpentine Gallery.
The objective is always clarity — to communicate the curatorial vision without distraction.
Colour Accuracy & Reproduction Quality
Art demands faithful reproduction. I work with medium format digital systems to ensure exceptional colour accuracy, tonal smoothness and resolution suitable for catalogues, press, large-scale print and archival use.
Lighting is approached carefully and respectfully — often working with available gallery light, supplemented subtly only where necessary. The aim is neutrality and balance, allowing the artwork to remain the focus.
Experience Working in Sensitive Environments
Gallery environments are often technically and operationally sensitive. I have extensive experience working around high-value and irreplaceable works, coordinating with curators, registrars and technicians to ensure safe and unobtrusive production.
Whether documenting a major contemporary exhibition, a permanent collection, or installation in progress, I work calmly and efficiently — maintaining the integrity of the space while producing images that endure beyond the exhibition itself..
