The show apartment makes full use of The Whiteley's exceptional proportions, with 4.2-metre-high ceilings, a south-facing terrace and a winter garden overlooking the building's historic dome. The interior combines contemporary furniture and bespoke detailing with carefully selected antique and vintage pieces, creating a sophisticated but comfortable residential character.

My photography focused on the relationship between the apartment's scale and its more intimate details: natural stone, finely detailed joinery, textured wall finishes, furniture and objects, together with the changing natural light throughout the interior and terrace spaces.

Part of the Foster + Partners redevelopment of the historic Whiteleys department store, The Whiteley has been transformed into one of London's most significant luxury residential developments, combining private residences with the UK's first Six Senses hotel.
